As we start our 40th season here in beautiful Bend Oregon- we are honored to go back to our core values. One of which has always been philanthropy. We are honored to live in this beautiful area and feel very proud to be stewards of this community and finding ways to support and come along side local people and groups making a difference is near and dear to our hearts.
This month we are going PINK for cancer. We are partnering with our friend Joni Carlson and her Kissed by Cancer foundation.Kissed by Cancer She and her daughter have worked through her own cancer diaganosis to create a community guided by optomistic outlooks, renewed perspective and outreach. 100% of their efforts are given directly to women in need during their cancer journey. This includes meeting daily needs like groceries, gas, housing and even helping to pay for medications, and deductibles to help ease the burden and lighten the load.
10% of all proceeds of any thing PINK (like this) and This and even this sold in the month will be donated directly to these real life angels who are here on the frontlines helping our local community.
We are also excited to host Kissed by Cancer on October 7th here in the store for First Friday From 3 - 6 pm for some drinks, and converstation and shopping for a cause of course. So please plan to join us on Friday and throughout the month as well to support his fantasic cause, and do some good in our community.
